The Vintage is a lightweight Turkish beach towel in 100% premium Turkish cotton. We weave it in Turkey at a packable 310 gsm. At 33 in x 75 in (85 cm x 190 cm), it runs longer than a standard beach towel. It is also slimmer through the body. So it packs flatter for travel and drapes easily as a scarf or shoulder wrap.

Why Is This Lightweight Turkish Beach Towel So Light?

At 310 gsm, the Vintage uses the lightest weight in the NIXY Turkish towel line. By comparison, our standard towels run 370 gsm and our plush towels run 430 gsm. The lighter yarn weight helps it pack flatter, dry faster, and drape more easily. It is still 100% premium Turkish cotton, so it gets softer and more absorbent with every wash.

How Big Is the Vintage?

It measures 33 in x 75 in (85 cm x 190 cm), which we classify as Extra-Long Travel. It is slimmer than a standard 37-inch wide beach towel, but longer overall. As a result, it works for full-body wraps, scarf-style draping, beach lounging, and air travel.

How Is the Vintage Different From the Palm?

Both are 100% Turkish cotton. However, the Palm towel measures 90 cm x 175 cm at 370 gsm. That makes it a balanced everyday beach towel. The Vintage measures 85 cm x 190 cm at 310 gsm, which makes it lighter and longer. So pick the Palm for daily beach use and the Vintage for travel days.

The Vintage comes in two colorways, Sunset and Sunrise. Each lightweight Turkish beach towel carries a timeless coastal palette. That classic look also makes it easy to wear as a scarf or shoulder wrap when you leave the beach.

How to Care for Your Lightweight Turkish Beach Towel

Wash it in warm water on a gentle cycle, then use a cool dryer or air dry it. Avoid bleach, fabric softeners, and dryer sheets, since they coat the cotton fibers and reduce absorbency. Because of its lighter weight, the Vintage also dries especially quickly.
