Neoprene Fishing Rod Sleeves – Spinning & Casting Sonar Shield®

Your rods weren’t cheap. Protect them. With Sonar Shield® Neoprene Fishing Rod Sleeves. The soft, hook-resistant neoprene helps protect rod blanks, line guides, and tips from scratches, scuffs, tangles, and everyday damage during storage and transportation.

Available in separate Spinning and Casting designs for a better fit.

Choose the Correct Rod Sleeve

Choose your sleeve based on your rod and reel style—not the sleeve length. Both versions fit most rods from 6'10" to 7'6".

SPINNING ROD SLEEVE

• Choose this version if your reel hangs underneath the rod
• Designed for the larger, taller line guides (eyelets) found on spinning rods
• Fits most spinning rods from 6'10" to 7'6"
• Sleeve length: 62 inches / 157.5 cm
• Opening width: 3.5 inches

CASTING ROD SLEEVE

• Choose this version if your baitcasting or casting reel sits on top of the rod
• Designed for the smaller, low-profile line guides (eyelets) found on casting rods
• Fits most casting and baitcasting rods from 6'10" to 7'6"
• Sleeve length: 64 inches / 162.5 cm
• Opening width: 2.5 inches

Still unsure? If the reel hangs underneath the rod, choose Spinning. If the reel sits on top of the rod, choose Casting.

Protect and Organize Your Fishing Rods

Fishing rods can take a beating inside crowded rod lockers, boats, trucks, and garages. The Sonar Shield® Neoprene Fishing Rod Sleeve creates a soft protective barrier around your rod blank, line, guides, and tip.

The hook-resistant neoprene helps reduce snagged hooks and tangled rods. A reinforced tip and durable edging strengthen the areas that experience the most wear, while the adjustable retention cord helps keep the sleeve securely in place.

Each sleeve slides on and off easily, helping you protect and organize your fishing rods without slowing you down.
