Garmin LiveScope LVS32 Cable Saver

A cable saver installed on a Garmin LiveScope transducer, protecting the cable’s entry point.

Never worry about a damaged transducer cable cutting your fishing trip short again. The Sonar Shield LVS32 Cable Saver is a rugged, bolt-on guard for your Garmin Panoptix LiveScope LVS32 transducer cable – the critical “lifeline” of your expensive sonar system. This custom-designed part mounts on top of the transducer with two stainless steel screws, forming a protective shield around the cable’s vulnerable exit point. Why is this important? Because constant bending, snags, or bumps can strain the cable and even cause it to separate or crack over time, which is a known issue among LiveScope users. The Cable Saver acts like insurance for your gear, absorbing shocks and preventing cable damage during both everyday use and those chaotic moments on the water.

Superior Design & Build: Made from marine-grade ASA plastic (Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate), the Sonar Shield Cable Saver is built to withstand harsh sun, cold, and corrosive spray. ASA is UV-stable and impact-resistant, which means this 3D-printed protector won’t crack or weaken even after long days in scorching sun or freezing weather. Unlike DIY fixes or flimsy knock-offs, this heavy-duty yet lightweight shield has been engineered for a precise fit on the LVS32 transducer. It hugs the cable tightly at the exit point, relieving strain and eliminating the worry of the cable “pulling out” or fraying. And installation is a breeze – no special tools or modifications required. In under a minute, you’ll screw it in place using the included hardware, and it stays put through your highest speed runs and roughest waves.

Ultimate Protection for Your Investment: Sonar Shield’s Cable Saver safeguards the most fragile part of your LiveScope system. For 100% peace of mind, pair it with the Sonar Shield LVS32 Transducer Cover (sold separately). The Cable Saver shields your cable, while the Transducer Cover encloses and armor-plates the transducer itself – together, this combo offers ultimate 360° protection for your valuable sonar gear. You’ll protect your investment from every angle: no more worrying about underwater stumps clipping the cable or boat decks banging into the transducer. Whether you’re weaving through standing timber, braving icy conditions, or just trailering your bass boat to the next lake, Sonar Shield has you covered.
